The cottage is stone built, dating from about 1820 and restored completely in 1994.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms. The main one has a large King size bed, chest of drawers and hanging rail. The smaller one has two single beds, chest of drawers and hooks for hanging. There is also a shower room with basin and w.c.
Downstairs is one large room (about 20 foot square). There is a powerful wood burning stove (which easily heats the whole house in winter). The furniture consists of a double sofa bed, chairs and a dining room table. The kitchen area has a gas stove, kettle, and fridge. There is a washing machine.
The field adjoining the cottage and running down behind the house belongs to us. There is also a gravelled area in the front, behind the cottage and to the side of the house for eating out.

Booking dates are flexible and you can say as short or as long as you wish, if it’s available you can book it! That’s why we have both week and day rates. Dates blacked out in the table below are unavailable.
